At Private Marker we believe in a clean, respectful web. We use only technical cookies and similar technologies (such as Local Storage) strictly necessary for the site to function.

What technologies do we use and why?

Authentication and Security: When you sign in with Google, our system (managed via Supabase) stores secure session tokens to keep you signed in while you use the tool.
Preferences and anonymous statistics: We use your browser's local storage to remember display preferences (such as Light or Dark theme). We also use session storage, cleared when the tab closes, to distinguish tool-use sessions. If you choose "Accept all", we also store a random first-party identifier to understand in aggregate whether tools are used again: it contains no name, email address, or IP address, does not follow browsing across other sites, and is not a device fingerprint.

Third-Party Cookies

Private Marker does not use profiling cookies, advertising trackers, or invasive analytics tools (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel). Essential statistics are collected directly by Private Marker and are not shared with third parties. Google is involved only if you choose the "Continue with Google" button to sign in to your account.
