Depending on the export, online editors, apps and photo-editing software can store information about the software used, the author or the workflow in a file. This data is often useful, but not always needed when sharing a photo publicly.

Are my photos uploaded to a server?+
No. Analysis, cleaning and download happen in your browser. Images and metadata stay on your device.
Does the photo quality change?+
For JPG and PNG, we remove metadata blocks without changing visible pixels. WebP and HEIC are converted in the browser: for HEIC, choose the recommended JPG for a smaller, compatible file, or PNG to avoid another JPEG compression.
What data is removed?+
We remove common metadata: GPS, date, camera model, and EXIF, XMP, IPTC or text blocks stored in the file. This can include information added by apps or editing software.
Which formats are supported?+
You can use JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC and HEIF. Choose up to 100 photos and download all clean copies in one ZIP file.
Can I use HEIC photos from iPhone?+
Yes. HEIC and HEIF photos are converted locally into a new JPG or PNG copy without their original metadata. JPG is recommended for size and compatibility; PNG avoids another compression step but can be much larger.
